Colors of Breakfast

I am still amazed at God's ability to plan and arrange our lives, when we allow Him.

Example: Warning this is long and windy but has a point!

Aaron just so happened to see a person at the school who was withdrawing her daughter, he jokingly offered to house sit until their home sold. After a discussion with her husband they called and agreed that convenient arrangements could be made for both parties. Due to our children refusing to nap one afternoon, last week, we buckled them into the car and made a surprise visit to the family's residence. While talking with the family I noticed a book "for sale" in their moving sale. The book A Heart like His by Beth Moore caught my interest and I decided to take it home. I have been reading it for a few days, enjoying the story line and new insight. Yesterday, I read a verse and for some reason it stuck out to me. It stuck out so much that I later read it to Aaron while riding in the car. After receiving our first financial statement from CSI, this afternoon, I now know why God placed this verse in my head.

Amazing huh? God knew exactly what I needed days in advance and took all these people and circumstances to make it happen (I am really glad now that I did not complain about my extra long wait in the Dr office but happily read my book and the scripture that I needed)

Pride

Last night, we had a friendly gathering of dinner and talking at the Vickery's. Some people brought Bibles, the word Jesus was used a few times and prayer was offered but overall we were just friends hanging out and "doing life together." There were several announcements and updates from our friends and I left with a since of pride. Some of the announcements were just to be shared amongst friends and not open to the public but just let me say that God is using people that open their hearts to him! Many hurt, lost and desperate people will be touched in Jesus name as my friends follow the calls God has placed on their lives. I am curious to see where we will be one year, five years or ten years from now. Please pray for all of us as we take risks, give more time to God, get nervous, lose sight and refocus, work through details, deal with family memebers, gain strength and most importantly love and forgive as Christ has shown us.

Been Awhile

It has been awhile since I left a post so here is a catch up....

1. Audrey turned 3!
2. Our house is sold! (less than 72 hours on the market)!
3. Braylon has had an ear infection for 6 weeks, ENT here we come!
4. We visited North Carolina, beautiful!
5. We are enjoying the fresh vegetables of our garden.
6. God has been showing me the amazing power of his mercy!
7. Mom collected donations and had a GREAT yard sale! (Thank you for the mission donations)
8. Audrey may make her first appearance at a Bible school tonight :)
9. Braylon is saying Set Go! (that makes a momma proud)
10 After set go, he now says Mom Mom (I was pretty far down the line after (Mac, dada, dog, ball, Zack (his cousin),down, up,yuck, set go).
11. I am attempting to gather curriculum/plans to home school Audrey, starting in a few weeks.
12. I am excited to be teaching Audrey!
13. God is an amazing planner, I cannot put my own daily schedule together, but God does mine and everyone else since the beginning of time until the end of time.....Wow!
14. My brother leaves for Australia in two weeks, I will miss him! We may not see each other for a long time!!
